MC Cadenza Mono - A True Mono Cartridge

Cadenza, derived from the Italian word "cadence," designates a segment within a musical performance, typically during a concert, where the orchestra ceases to play, allowing the soloist to perform independently, unrestrained by a strict rhythmic pattern.

This solo passage, known as a cadenza, typically showcases the most ornate and virtuosic passages performed by the solo instrument throughout the composition. As the cadenza concludes, the orchestra resumes, often bringing the movement to its culmination.

The Cadenza Mono model features a Nude Fine Line stylus and a cylindrical aluminum cantilever. The stylus radius is r/R 8/40 µm. The coils are made from 6NX (99.9999%) pure silver wire. An improved winding process on the armature allows for better channel balance. For easy use, the pins are connected to provide the same signal from both pairs of connecting pins.

Sharing its internal build with the Cadenza Red and optimized for mono playback, the sound is relaxed, homogeneous, and moderate.
