A special ABS (Acrylonitrile/Butadiene/Styrene) thermoplastic material is used in the body’s construction. This lightweight, impact-resistant material is ideal for injection molding and provides a durable, scratch-resistant surface. Neodymium magnets are utilized to achieve optimal output. Low internal impedance makes the cartridge less sensitive to load, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of preamps and transformers. The MC Quintet Bronze reveals even more detail and resolution while maintaining a balanced respect for all elements.

Ease of Use

Mounting the Quintet cartridges is straightforward and secure using the supplied screws. The aluminum frame features threaded mounting holes and can be easily fitted with either 5 mm or 7 mm screws, depending on the thickness of the headshell.

The right angles, straight lines, stylus visibility, and ample distance between the record surface and the cartridge’s bottom make it easy to mount and align the cartridge and tonearm correctly. The Quintet Series delivers excellent results with most common tonearms.
