Dual CS 529 Fully Automatic Turntable with Bluetooth and Ortofon 2M Red Cartridge

The fully automatic functionality of the CS 529 provides maximum ease of use for playing your 33-1⁄3, 45, and 78 rpm records. The classic Dual tonearm automatically lifts, shifts across, and drops autonomously with the push of a button. Simply place the vinyl record on the platter and push Start. Once a side of the record has played through, the tonearm lifts, returns to rest, and the motor shuts off on its own for peace of mind. Repeat functionality allows you to loop sides of records for continuous playback.

The CS 529 offers maximum listening pleasure thanks to the upgraded twin gimbal tonearm bearing and high-quality pivot ball bearings for optimum record tracking. While the excellent Ortofon 2M Red moving magnet cartridge is included, the tonearm is fully adjustable, allowing you to change and upgrade your phono cartridge in the future, and to alter the tracking force and anti-skating accordingly. There's also a built-in phono preamplifier which can be enabled or bypassed.

For the first time in a Dual automatic turntable, Bluetooth enables two convenient functions. First, it can be used to wirelessly transmit the turntable's audio signal to compatible headphones, speakers, and more with the aptX™ HD codec. Plus, in an industry-first you can control the turntable via a smartphone or tablet using the free app for iOS or Android. This way, you can operate the turntable via the controls on the player, or via Bluetooth from the comfort of your seat.

TECHNOLOGY

Spring-Loaded Antiskating
Fine adjustment: The antiskating can be adjusted quickly and easily. The dial has a printed scale for guidance and no predefined settings.
Precise skating compensation: An ingenious mechanism with a specially shaped spring which guarantees optimal skating compensation over the entire playback range.

The Classic Dual Tonearm
Twin gimbal design: Due to the pivot points being arranged around the tonearm tube, on both sides in the vertical and the horizontal plane, the tilting momentum is reduced to an absolute minimum.
Precision pivot ball-bearing: The bearing design is almost free of play and guarantees the lowest friction. It consists of a small ball-bearing cup and a precise machined tip in the rotating shaft.

Maximum ease of use: Playback can be started and stopped easily and conveniently at the touch of a button or using the app via Bluetooth.
Without compromise: During playback, the mechanics of the automatic system are decoupled from the tonearm and the platter to ensure audio integrity.
