The Primare A35.2 is the most powerful amplifier Primare has ever built using their proprietary UFPD 2 all-analog Class-D technology — delivering 200 watts per channel at 8 ohms in stereo, and an extraordinary 800 watts at 8 ohms in bridged mono mode. Designed from the ground up as a statement stereo amplifier, the A35.2 combines immense power with absolute linearity and the natural, agile character that defines the Primare sound.

Technology

To achieve the performance goals of the A35.2, Primare engineered an entirely new UFPD 2 power module — a purpose-built analog Class-D amplification stage designed specifically for this amplifier. To feed it, a completely new power supply featuring custom-wound transformers was developed to deliver the sustained electrical reserves required for high-demand musical passages.

The result is an amplifier capable of immediate and sustained high power output with very low distortion, instantaneous rise time, and absolutely linear amplification across the entire audible bandwidth — producing a naturally fast, clean, and agile sound over an ultra-wide frequency range with exceptional headroom.

With balanced XLR inputs and the ability to be bridged to mono, the A35.2 can drive even the most demanding loudspeakers with authority, or serve as the foundation for an awesomely powerful multi-channel system array.

  True to Primare's Scandinavian heritage, the A35.2 is as refined as it is powerful. A standout design detail: the standby button is discretely integrated within the Primare logo on the faceplate — an elegant expression of the Swedish concept of lagom: balance, proportion, and harmony.
