NuPrime 9A Music Server

The NuPrime Stream 9A Server is a high-performance Audirvana server designed to function as a digital transport for high-fidelity audio systems, with support for multiple streaming services. The platform incorporates Audirvana’s proprietary technologies, including an advanced audio player, comprehensive music library management, and seamless integration with partner HD streaming services, online radio stations, and podcasts. In addition to Wi-Fi streaming up to 24-bit/192 kHz, the Stream 9A Server supports Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD. This product requires an active Audirvana Studio subscription, which must be purchased separately from Audirvana.com.

User can control NuPrime Stream 9A Server using the Audirvāna app on a smartphone or tablet to manage local and online music libraries, organize playlists, favorites, and radio stations, and enjoy an optimized audio engine that reflects Audirvāna’s commitment to sound quality. Mobile devices can also stream Bluetooth music to Stream 9A Server.

Hardware Setup Guide

  1. Check that the voltage selector switch is set correctly.
  2. Attach the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi antennas.
  3. Connect the power cable.
  4. Power on the unit.
  5. Download and open the Audirvāna Remote app on your smartphone.

  6. Press the red button on the rear panel of the Stream 9A Server. A “WiFi Connect” screen will appear on your phone. Select SSID WiFi Command, then enter the username and password of your local Wi-Fi network. After entering the credentials, the WiFi Connect screen will disappear, and both the phone and the Stream 9A Server will connect to the Wi-Fi network. You may then choose whether to connect a wired Ethernet cable.
  7. The Stream 9A Server output interface is the same as the Stream-9.
  8. In the Audirvāna Remote app on your phone, a device named “Alita” will appear. Select Alita, then choose the sample rate (input/output) to complete the connection.

Audirvāna Remote Setup

  1. Ensure that the Remote App and the Stream 9A Server are on the same network.
  2. Select the Stream 9A in the list of available devices.
  3. Connect your Audirvāna account.
    Note: If you don’t have an account, please create it at https://audirvana.com/try to get thirty-day free trial.
  4. Once connected within the setting tab, you can select the Output Device:

    Alita if you want to play using Stream 9A Server
    UPNP or Chromecast available devices to play to them in the list.
    Note: you have the option in the Output Device list to switch between Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection if you have both LAN connected and Wi-Fi set-up.
  5. You can connect your Qobuz, Tidal, HRA or Presto Music account in the Streaming tab of the settings.
    Note: Qobuz, Tidal, HRA or Presto Music subscription must be purchased separately.
