Effortlessly musical
A custom Class AB amplifier combines the warmth of Class A with the efficiency of Class B for a refined, balanced, and engaging sound. Its super-efficient short signal path reduces colouration, connecting you to the emotional power of the music. An 80W-per-channel output (120W into 4 ohms) with a toroidal transformer and dual taps delivers a vivid, immersive soundstage that handles loud and quiet passages with ease.
The ultimate DAC upgrade
The ESS ES9018K2M Sabre DAC brings energy and precision to digital music, revealing new layers of detail with audio clarity up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD256. Optical, coaxial S/PDIF, and asynchronous USB inputs connect computers, streamers, and disc players, while Bluetooth aptX HD streams high-quality audio wirelessly.
Seamlessly integrated
Balanced XLR and four RCA analogue inputs, plus Roon Tested compatibility and easy USB connection to a PC or Mac, let the CXA81 Mk II slot into any system. Dual speaker outputs let you connect a second set of speakers for another room. A clean aluminium fascia keeps only what is needed, power, input selectors, and a beautifully smooth volume control, and the amplifier is also offered in a limited CX Black Edition finish.
