It delivers 100W total from a 21mm aluminium tweeter and a 3-inch long-throw woofer per speaker, with Bluetooth aptX HD and wired inputs, tuned for desks, shelves, and smaller rooms.

Does the L/R S have Wi-Fi streaming like the L/R M and L/R X?
No. The L/R S is a Bluetooth and wired speaker, not a network streaming speaker, so it does not include Wi-Fi, StreamMagic, or services like Spotify Connect. Connect over Bluetooth (aptX HD) or via Aux, optical, or USB. If you want built-in Wi-Fi streaming and a phono input, step up to the L/R M or flagship L/R X.

What can I connect to the L/R S?
The L/R S offers Bluetooth with aptX HD plus RCA Aux, optical TOSLINK, and USB-C inputs, and a subwoofer output. It works well as a desktop system, a shelf system, or to improve TV sound via the optical input.

Do the L/R S need a subwoofer or amplifier?
No. The L/R S is active, with amplification built in, so no separate amplifier is needed. Its 3-inch woofers and rear reflex port deliver full sound for their size down to 55Hz, and a subwoofer output is provided if you want to add deeper bass.

How do the two speakers connect, and are desk stands available?
The pair links with the supplied 2m high-level signal cable, with an optional 5m cable for larger spaces or stands. Optional angled desk stands (sold separately) lift and tilt the speakers toward you for a more natural desktop soundstage.

Where can I buy the Cambridge Audio L/R S in the USA?
The Cambridge Audio L/R S is available at Vinyl Sound with shipping across the USA.
