The Primare CD35 is an award-winning, full-size modular CD player of extraordinary capabilities. Built around a state-of-the-art low-resonance dedicated CD drive and the most sophisticated digital-to-analog converter stage Primare has ever offered, the CD35 is also future-ready — capable of adding full Prisma network technology at any time via the optional SM35 module.
Technology
Each component of the CD35 — the drive, the DAC, and the output stage — works together in balance and harmony, making it the finest CD player Primare has ever built. At its heart is a state-of-the-art TEAC CD 5020A-AT dedicated CD drive, delivering a jitter-free digital signal to an all-new DAC stage built around the superb-sounding ESS Sabre ES9028PRO eight-channel chipset. That converted analog signal is then delivered through a finely tuned output stage with both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA outputs.
The CD35's modular design allows the SM35 Prisma network connectivity module to be added at any time, seamlessly upgrading the player with streaming, network control, and multi-room audio capabilities — protecting your investment for years to come.
