The Primare PRE35 is an exceptional modular balanced preamplifier featuring dual XLR balanced inputs and outputs, fully balanced analog preamplification circuitry, and a four-layer main board engineered for the shortest possible signal path — delivering unprecedented low noise and distortion-free performance. Its modular architecture allows the DM35 DAC and SM35 Prisma network player modules to be added at any time, making it a future-proof system control center.

Technology

The PRE35 is built around a precision four-layer main board that minimizes the signal path to achieve the lowest possible noise floor and distortion levels. Both XLR balanced and RCA unbalanced connections are supported across all inputs and outputs, giving the PRE35 the flexibility to anchor any high-performance analog system.

Thanks to Primare's modular design philosophy, the PRE35 can be upgraded with the DM35 digital-to-analog converter module or the SM35 Prisma network streaming module — either at the time of purchase or at a later date — without replacing the unit.
