Technology

The SC15 Prisma MK2 continues Primare's tradition of delivering exceptional performance from a compact, three-quarter-sized cabinet — making it easy to install in virtually any room of the house. With selectable fixed or variable analog output, it can serve as a high-performance network player within any existing system in fixed mode, or connect directly to a pair of powered speakers in variable mode for a compact, self-contained stereo system.

The included WiSA wireless speaker output adds a further connection option for WiSA-enabled powered loudspeakers and subwoofers. When WiSA is active, the analog RCA output can additionally be configured as a wired subwoofer output.

Automatic & Manual Room EQ

New to the MK2 is a built-in Room EQ function integrated into the Prisma app. During a 60-second measurement sequence, the system plays pink noise while an iOS device or Zen microphone is moved around the room — sampling all positions to identify each room mode. Once complete, a bass filter is automatically applied to compensate for boundary effects and room interference. The result can then be manually fine-tuned to personal preference.

Prisma provides multi-room/multi-zone connectivity and control of stored and streamed media — wired or wireless — all managed from your mobile device via the dedicated Prisma app. Stream hundreds of services including Tidal HiFi, Qobuz, and Spotify Connect, manage networked hard drives, and control your entire system by voice.
